In June the BBCRC hosted our first "Railroad Worker Weekend". Active and retired rails who've worked or are working for many different railroads came together for storytelling, music and general socializing. The group also built this wood fence along our property line.
The transformation of our Pacific Fruit Express refrigerated boxcar into a library and art show space moved forward and by late in the summer we were able to host an art show and 'zine release party.
Five musicians or bands played at our Fall Work and Music Party. Pictured here is Hello Shitty People, who stopped by as part of their national tour. Others performing included Frozen Teens, the Nature Boys, Scott McDougall, and Little Boy Blue

Our friends Steffan and Alice, in the midst of a journey by horseback from Santa Cruz to Washington State, got off the Pacific Crest Trail and paid us a visit
